We get local service pages into the top 5

What we do

Page-level work, in the order it pays off

Most local businesses are not losing to a competitor with a bigger budget. They are losing to a page that covers three services and six FAQs where theirs covers one service and a phone number. We fix that, one page at a time, starting with the page you already rank with.

  • The audit other people skip

We pull the pages ranking above you and measure them: word count against yours, the questions they answer, the schema they carry, the city and service terms in their titles. Then we tell you what they have that you don't. Free, and it takes about ten minutes to read.

  • Rewrites that cover the whole job

Service pages, city pages and the FAQ block customers actually read. Written for humans first, structured so search engines can tell what the page is about. You get the copy, the headings and the schema markup, ready to drop into your site.

  • On-page fixes that support it

LocalBusiness and Service schema, FAQ markup, title and meta rewrites, consistent name and phone details, internal links from your other pages. Boring things that quietly decide who shows up first.

How it works

Four steps, no retainer theatre

You see the evidence before you spend anything, and you keep the audit whether you hire us or not.

  1. We audit the five above you Your ranking page against the five that outrank it, on the keyword that matters to you.
  2. You see the gaps A short list of what they cover and you don't, with the numbers behind each point.
  3. We rewrite the page Copy, structure and schema, delivered ready to publish on your existing site.
  4. We measure again Six to eight weeks later, against the same benchmark. If it didn't move, you'll see that too.
Local search and AI search

Two surfaces, one audit

People still find local businesses in the map results, and more of them now ask an AI assistant instead. Both decide who gets the call, and both are readable from the same page, so we do not audit them as separate jobs: one pass covers what Google's local results want and what an AI answer needs in order to quote you.

  • Local signals

Service pages that name the city and the job, name, address and phone details that match everywhere they appear, LocalBusiness and Service schema, internal links that put the right page within reach of your homepage, and the review and listing signals Google reads off the page.

  • AI search, in the same pass

Whether GPTBot and PerplexityBot are allowed to read the page at all, whether it says what you do and where in the first 60 words, whether there is an answer block an engine can quote, whether it carries a date and a name behind it, and whether any of that exists before JavaScript runs.

  • Both, with the cost attached

Each finding comes with what it is costing you today, in queries or in calls that go to the business above you. The quick ones you can act on this week; the bigger ones we will walk you through, because they need a plan rather than a patch.

What clients say

Work that got pages moving

"They showed me the five pages beating mine and what each one covered that I didn't. I'd been told to add more words for two years. This was the first time anyone showed me which words."

"The rewrite went live in an afternoon. Three weeks later we were in the top five for the suburb we actually wanted, not just the city."

Questions

Before you get in touch

How is this different from what my current SEO person does?

Most local SEO work is reporting plus a monthly fee. This is page work with the evidence attached: the five pages above you, measured, and a specific list of what they cover that yours doesn't. You can read the audit and act on it without us.

Do I have to change my website or platform?

No. You get copy, headings and schema markup, and you or your web person paste it into the site you already have. If your developer needs a hand, we will talk to them directly.

How long until rankings move?

Usually four to twelve weeks, sometimes longer for competitive suburbs. Nobody honest guarantees a position, and anyone who does is guessing. What we guarantee is that the page will cover more of what the pages above you cover, and that you'll be able to check that yourself.

Which trades do you work with?

Local service businesses where the phone has to ring: garage doors, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, pest control, landscaping and similar trades. If your customers search "[service] near me" and call the top three, this is built for you.

What does it cost?

Priced per page, quoted after the audit. No monthly retainer for a report you don't read. Start with the free audit and decide from there.

Do you work on AI search, not just Google?

Both, in the same audit. Google's own guidance is that optimising for its AI features is still SEO, so we do not sell them as separate projects: we check whether the AI crawlers can read the page, whether it contains a quotable answer, whether it is dated and attributed, and whether your business appears on the platforms those answers actually read. That sits on top of the local work, not instead of it.

Do you build links?

Not as a first move. Links matter, but for most of the businesses we audit, the page two spots above them is winning on coverage, not on backlinks. We fix the page first. If links are genuinely the bottleneck, we will say so and point you somewhere sensible.
